New goal - 10,000 Steps per day

My wife's company has a walking contest and spouses can participate.  So I've decided to set my daily goal at 10,000 steps or more. 

As a side goal I have set a 1,000,000 steps or more in 12 weeks.

That is awesome! It makes losing weight and staying fit more fun when you have a goal or something to work towards.That's why I run :) I have heard the standard for staying fit and healthy is 10,000 steps a day so I think this is a great contest! When I was wearing the Bodybugg I had not problem hitting my 10,000 steps a day.
